Overview report
The Overview report of the VitalSentinel SEO Extension shows the status, indexability, Core Web Vitals, main issues and recent changes of the page that you have open.
The Overview report is the first report that the popup opens. It gives a summary of the page and lists the issues that need your attention. Each issue links to the report that has the details.
Before you start
- Open an
httporhttpspage and click the VitalSentinel icon. - If the page was open before you installed the extension, reload it first. Otherwise the extension has no record of the status and the redirects.
Page summary
Below the title, the report shows the address of the page and a row of chips:

- Indexable or Not indexable. See Indexability.
- The number of redirects, if the address redirected.
- The language of the page, or No lang attribute.

If you are signed in and the site is monitored, the button Watch this page shows at the top right. See VitalSentinel tab.
Core Web Vitals
Three cards show LCP, INP and CLS for this page load, measured on your device. Each card shows the rating Good, Needs improvement or Poor. The INP card shows "Interact with the page first" until you click, tap or type on the page. Click Performance to see all the measurements.
If you are signed in and the site is monitored, each card also shows CrUX data. This is the latest 75th percentile value of real Chrome users on phones. The big number is your page load, and the small number below it is the CrUX value.
If you are not signed in, the report shows the offer Free CrUX data for the site. Click Test on PageSpeed Insights to run a Google test of the page in a new tab.
The ratings use the same limits as VitalSentinel. See Metrics and thresholds.
Monitored in VitalSentinel
If you are signed in and the site is monitored, the card Monitored in VitalSentinel · Last 90 days shows three values:
| Cell | What it shows | Click to open |
|---|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Clicks, impressions and average position | Content |
| Google index | Indexed or Not indexed, and the last crawl date | Indexability |
| Web Analytics | Page views and bounce rate | The VitalSentinel tab |
Needs attention
The Needs attention list shows the errors and the warnings from these reports: Indexability, Content, Images, Social tags and HTTP headers. Errors come first. Each row names the report that has the details. Click a row to open that report.
If there is no issue, the report says "Nothing needs attention on this page."
Changed since your last visit
The extension keeps a short summary of each page that you open. When you open the same address again, the section Changed since your last visit compares the page with the summary. It shows the old value crossed out and the new value below it.
The extension compares these fields: title, meta description, canonical, robots directives, H1, word count, structured data types, hreflang entries, links and HTTP status. The Unchanged row lists the main fields that did not change. If nothing changed, the section says "Nothing SEO-relevant changed."
The summaries stay in your browser for 30 days. The extension does not keep summaries for incognito tabs. To turn off the history or to clear it, see Settings.
