Expert Consultations
Book one-on-one video consultations with VitalSentinel's experts to dig into performance, SEO, or revenue protection on your sites.
VitalSentinel offers paid one-on-one consultations with our experts. Use them to dig into a specific incident, plan a performance improvement project, or get a second opinion on technical SEO strategy. Bookings live at /dashboard/consultations.
What You Get
Every consultation is:
- A private video call with a VitalSentinel expert
- Personalized to your sites – we'll review your domain's data ahead of time
- Action-oriented – you leave with concrete next steps, not generic advice
Plan Types
There are two ways to engage:
One-Time Consultation
A single 60-minute call. Best when you want a focused deep dive into a specific issue, such as:
- Diagnosing a Core Web Vitals regression
- Reviewing why search visibility dropped
- Validating a migration plan before you ship it
- Walking through a one-off audit of your monitoring setup
You pick a date and time at booking (times appear in your account timezone). Pay once, attend the call.
Weekly Subscription
A standing weekly consultation. Best when you have ongoing work where regular check-ins help you move faster:
- Performance optimization programs
- Long-term SEO strategy
- Multi-quarter revenue improvement projects
- Building internal monitoring processes from scratch
The weekly subscription includes:
- One consultation per week at a recurring time
- A dedicated Slack channel with our expert for asynchronous questions between calls
- Long-term strategy support – we keep context across sessions
- The same personalized, action-oriented format as one-time calls
Booking a Call
- Open Consultations from the sidebar.
- Choose One-Time or Weekly Subscription.
- For one-time, pick the date and time you'd like.
- Check the times, which appear in your account timezone. Use the Change → link to adjust it in Settings if needed.
- Confirm and complete payment in the Stripe checkout.
- You'll receive a confirmation email with the call details and a calendar invite.
Rescheduling
Plans change. You can move a booking after the fact:
- One-time bookings can be rescheduled to any open slot within the next 14 days.
- Weekly subscription bookings can be rescheduled to a different slot within the same week (Monday-Sunday).
Open the booking from the Consultations page and choose Reschedule. Reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Canceling & Credits
If you can't make a call:
- Open the booking and click Cancel.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
For paid one-time bookings, canceling adds a prepaid consultation credit to your account. Use the credit to book another consultation later at no extra cost; your current balance appears on the Consultations page.
For weekly subscriptions, canceling a single occurrence simply skips that week; the subscription continues. Cancel the subscription itself from the Consultations page if you want to stop renewals entirely.
Past Bookings
The Consultations page shows your booking history for the past 90 days, including completed, canceled, and rescheduled calls.
When to Use Consultations vs Support
- Consultations are for strategy, analysis, and second opinions. Bring questions like "why did this happen?" or "what should we do about X?"
- Support (
support@vitalsentinel.com) is for product issues – bugs, billing, feature questions. Support is included with every plan.
