Creating Your Account
Step-by-step guide to creating your VitalSentinel account and setting up your profile.
This guide walks you through the account creation process and initial setup.
Sign Up
- Navigate to app.vitalsentinel.com
- Click Create Account or Get Started
- Fill in the registration form:
- Email - Your email address (will be used for login and notifications)
- Password - Create a strong password
- Confirm Password - Re-enter your password
- Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Click Create Account
If you received a workspace invitation, use the link in your email to register. This will automatically add you to the inviting workspace.
Email Verification
After registering, you'll need to verify your email:
- Check your inbox for an email from VitalSentinel
- Click the Verify Email button in the email
- You'll be redirected to the login page
Didn't receive the email? Check your spam folder or click "Resend verification email" on the login page.
First Login
After verifying your email:
- Enter your email and password
- Click Sign In
- You'll be guided through creating your first workspace
Setting Up Your Profile
After logging in, customize your profile:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner
- Select Settings
- Update your profile information:
- First Name and Last Name
- Timezone - Used for displaying dates and scheduling reports
- Theme - Choose Light, Dark, or System preference
Your profile picture is pulled from Gravatar based on your email address. Update it at gravatar.com.
Security Settings
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security:
- Go to Settings → Security
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the verification code
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
Email Preferences
Configure what notifications you receive:
- Go to Settings → Email Preferences
- Choose your notification preferences
