# CrUX Monitoring: Pages

The **Pages** card on the CrUX Monitoring Overview lists every page you track, with Google's latest figures on **Phone** and **Desktop**. Owners and admins also add and remove pages here. There is no separate settings page for CrUX Monitoring.

## Before you start [#before-you-start]

- To open the card, select **CrUX Monitoring** in the domain sidebar and scroll down to **Pages**.
- Workspace owners and admins can add and remove pages. Members see the card read-only.
- The number of pages you can track depends on your plan. See [Plans and limits](/workspace/plans-and-limits).

## The two tabs [#the-two-tabs]

The CrUX Monitoring **Pages** card has two tabs. Each tab shows its number of pages.

- **Google data**: the pages that Google rates. The card title is **Pages Google rates**.
- **Waiting for Google**: the pages that Google has no data for yet. The card title is **Pages waiting for Google**. This tab shows only when such pages exist.

Click a row in **Google data** to open its [Page details](/crux-monitoring/page-details).

## Columns of the Google data tab [#columns-of-the-google-data-tab]

The **Google data** tab of the CrUX Monitoring **Pages** card has these columns. Each figure column shows **Phone** and **Desktop** side by side.

| Column | What it shows |
|--------|---------------|
| **Page** | The page address. The whole-site row has a **Whole site** chip. |
| **Result** | If **Phone** and **Desktop** pass Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS all **Good**). |
| **LCP**, **INP**, **CLS** | Google's latest figure for each measure, in its band color. |
| **Google clicks** | Clicks from Google Search in the dates you selected. Needs Google Search Console. |

The list starts with the whole-site row, then the pages that are furthest over their limits. Click a column header to sort by it. The order uses the worse of **Phone** and **Desktop**.

### The Result column [#the-result-column]

Each device in the **Result** column has one of four results:

| Result | Meaning |
|--------|---------|
| **passes Core Web Vitals** | LCP, INP and CLS are all **Good**. |
| **does not pass Core Web Vitals** (amber) | The worst of LCP, INP and CLS is **Needs improvement**. |
| **does not pass Core Web Vitals** (red) | The worst of LCP, INP and CLS is **Poor**. |
| **not enough data** | Google has not published all three Core Web Vitals for this device yet. |

### Icons in a row [#icons-in-a-row]

- A falling arrow (**Slipped a band**) means that Google now rates the page worse than a week earlier. The tooltip names the device.
- The information icon opens **Google data**: the TTFB of each device, **Data from** (the date of Google's newest data) and **Last asked** (when VitalSentinel last asked Google).
- An **Old data** chip means that Google's newest data for the page is more than 60 days old. Do not read it as today's rating.

### The Google clicks column [#the-google-clicks-column]

The **Google clicks** column needs [Google Search Console](/connect/search-console). If it is not connected, the card shows **See which slow pages bring Google clicks** with **Connect Google Search Console**. Then you can fix first the slow pages that bring the most visits. The whole-site row shows no clicks, because Search Console counts clicks for each page.

## Columns of the Waiting for Google tab [#columns-of-the-waiting-for-google-tab]

The **Waiting for Google** tab of the CrUX Monitoring **Pages** card has three columns: **Page**, **Status** and **Last asked**. The **Status** column shows one of two statuses:

| Status | Meaning |
|--------|---------|
| **Waiting for the first check** | VitalSentinel has not asked Google about this page yet. |
| **Not enough Chrome visits yet** | Google publishes a page only when enough Chrome visitors reached it. VitalSentinel asks again automatically. |

## Filter the pages [#filter-the-pages]

The filter bar of CrUX Monitoring has three filters for the **Pages** card:

- **Page**: part of the page address, for example `/blog/`. Use **contains** or **does not contain**.
- **Core Web Vitals result**: **Good**, **Needs improvement** or **Poor**. This is Google's band for the worse of **Phone** and **Desktop**.
- **Whole site or one page**: **Whole site** or **One page**.

When a filter is on, the card says how many pages match, for example **12 of 40 pages match the conditions in the bar below.** If no page matches, the card shows **No pages match these filters**. The filters do not change the verdict or the **Core Web Vitals** card.

## Add pages [#add-pages]

Owners and admins add pages from the **Pages** card of CrUX Monitoring. You can enter addresses or add all pages from your sitemap.

### Add pages by address [#add-pages-by-address]

1. On the **Pages** card, click **Add pages**.
2. Make sure that **Manual** is selected.
3. In **Pages**, enter one full address on each line, for example `https://example.com/pricing/`.
4. Click **Add page** (or **Add pages** for more than one).

Each address must start with `https://`. If no address is valid, the dialog shows **Use the full address, starting with https://.** and lists the bad addresses. If only some addresses are not valid, VitalSentinel adds the valid addresses and skips the others. Pages that you already track show under **Already monitored**. After you add a page, VitalSentinel asks Google for its data automatically.

### Add all pages from your sitemap [#add-all-pages-from-your-sitemap]

1. On the **Pages** card, click **Add pages**.
2. Select **Sitemap**.
3. Click **Track all sitemap pages**.
4. In **Add all sitemap pages**, click **Confirm**.

The **Sitemap** tab uses the pages that [Sitemap Monitoring](/sitemap-monitoring/overview) found. VitalSentinel skips pages that you already track. If your plan limit stops the import, a message says how many pages it skipped.

If the first sitemap check is not complete, the tab shows a message and **Open Sitemap Monitoring**. If a check runs now, it shows **Sitemap scan in progress**. If no sitemap pages exist, it shows **No sitemap pages found yet**.

### Worth tracking [#worth-tracking]

The **Worth tracking** card shows your most-read pages that you do not track yet. Google publishes data only for pages with enough Chrome visits, so busy pages are the ones most likely to have CrUX data. Click **Track** on a row to add the page.

The card needs [Web Analytics](/connect/analytics-script). Without it, the card shows **See which pages are worth tracking** with **Install the Web Analytics script**.

## Remove a page [#remove-a-page]

<Callout type="warn">
When you remove a page, VitalSentinel permanently deletes all CrUX data that it collected for that page.
</Callout>

1. On the **Pages** card, find the page.
2. In the **Actions** column, click the delete button (**Delete this page**).
3. In **Delete this page**, click **Delete page**.

You cannot remove the **Whole site** row.

## Plan limit [#plan-limit]

The **Pages** card of CrUX Monitoring shows how many pages you use, as **pages in your workspace**. Near the limit, an **Upgrade plan** button shows. When you reach the limit, the card shows **Page limit reached** and the **Add pages** button is disabled. Its tooltip says **Page limit reached. Remove pages you no longer need or upgrade your plan.**

## Troubleshooting [#troubleshooting]

### Why is a page in Waiting for Google? [#why-is-a-page-in-waiting-for-google]

If the status is **Waiting for the first check**, VitalSentinel has not asked Google yet. It asks automatically, soon after you add the page. If the status is **Not enough Chrome visits yet**, Google has no data for the page. Keep the page if you expect more traffic, or use [RUM Monitoring](/rum-monitoring/overview) for it.

### Why does a page show Old data? [#why-does-a-page-show-old-data]

If a page shows **Old data**, Google stopped publishing new data for it more than 60 days ago. This often means that the page now gets too few Chrome visits.

### Why does the Sitemap tab show no pages? [#why-does-the-sitemap-tab-show-no-pages]

If the **Sitemap** tab shows **No sitemap pages found yet**, Sitemap Monitoring has no pages for your domain. Open [Sitemap Monitoring](/sitemap-monitoring/overview) and check its status.
